Description

Monitor deviation from standard, investigate the cause for the deviation and correct data in SAP as appropriate. Reconcile and close production/period orders after all production posting is complete.

Monitor the accuracy of the production data in SAP to ensure appropriate action are taken to maintain the integrity of the information available to work process partners and business management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cost variance and utility yield data in SAP at an appropriate frequency. Identify items that exceed the deviation tolerance as documented in the Business rules and develop a plan to resolve the root causes.
  • Investigate the cause of the deviation to identify if a posting error or a process change has occurred.
  • Lead root cause analysis for posting errors and develop action plan to eliminate the root cause.
  • Perform SAP transaction to make appropriate production posting corrections.
  • Work with Technical Adviser to identify permanent plant process changes and required master table data updates.
  • Maintains Bills of Materials and Routing table data in SAP and determines appropriate changes. Performs SAP transactions to update data as required by business rules.
  • Monitors and updates CandD level master table data for new products/raw materials and deletion of discontinued products/raw materials. This involves creating, modifying and deleting master table data such as work centers, bills of materials, routings, etc..
  • Monitors % Compliance to Production Schedule and % Inventory Accuracy performance..
  • Reconciles raw material and product inventory discrepancies and makes necessary adjustments to correct inventories.
  • Perform SAP transaction to reconcile and close production/period order after all production posting is complete.

Requirements             

  • High School Diploma required. A bachelor’s Degree preferred with prior experience in data analysis or a related field being advantageous.
  • Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
  • Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
  • Prior SAP experience or experience with other WMS (Warehouse Management System) are both valuable
  • Adept at writing reports and presenting findings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A deep understanding of the industry and business operations is a plus.
  • Perform spot checks as needed to ensure reported inventory reflects real-time conditions on the floor
  • Forklift Certification
